I have wasted years ’cause I didn’t believe in my vision. I must have thrown the idea out of my head thousands of times due to not knowing HOW I was going to pull it off.
I also doubted myself. Why me? Why am I having these big dreams that scare the hell out me?
Who am I to accomplish and have this humongous vision and who am I to make it happen?
But as Marianne Williamson once said, “We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world.”
Not only are we afraid of playing small, we are afraid of our own greatness, our big dreams. So we will try to find another one that seems more doable, easier, smaller, more possible, more believable.
But then you feel that rejection of this fake dream you’ve created out of fear. Your soul will kick and scream ’cause the dream is not in alignment with who you are.
This imposter idea belongs to your ego who is afraid of your light, your power, your magnificent self and your ability to achieve the true amazing vision and dream of yours.
Stop denying it, stop downplaying it, stop trying to convince yourself it’s not yours and trying to replace it with something smaller and with what’s not in your heart.
The more you deny it, the more pain you’ll feel.
You’ll attempt to take action towards the imposter dream (the safer dream) but then find yourself never really taking action towards it or desiring it. You’ll actually find yourself TRYING to convince yourself you want it-but the truth is, you don’t.
Surrender to your soul, surrender to the real dream that’s in your heart even though you’ll feel like it’s impossible.
Stop living in turmoil and set yourself free.
Believe in it.
It’s chosen you and, now it’s time you choose it.
The moment you do, I promise you will liberate yourself.
The moment you fully commit to it and decide with every single cell of your body that you will finally OWN it and do whatever it takes to make it happen, it will start to become a piece of you.
Everyday, own it by writing it down in your journal, by visualizing it and talking about it. It will soon become more comfortable, more believable, more achievable.
You’ve got to surrender to it and OWN it.
The moment you do, it becomes you and, you’ll never deny it again .
And, the moment that happens, you will light up like a Christmas tree and wonder why you never did it sooner.
You’ll feel the pulsing energy of this dream run through your body and enliven you, engulf you, lift you and wrap you with uncondional love.
No dream will fulfill you if it doesn’t scare you.
OWN THAT DREAM.
OWN IT NOW.
Always remember to be you, to be real and to be bold.
