Discover Hidden Money Beliefs That Hold Back Your Wealth
Do you ever wonder how some people have all the money and security they want while others struggle? I used to wonder about this all the time until I became fed up with my financial situation and decided to find out. If you’re living with debt, have no savings, are living paycheck to paycheck, or struggling to live a life you desire, then it’s time to wake up to the fact that you might have a money story that’s not serving you.
Until we know our true beliefs about money, nothing can change. Awareness is power.
Ten years ago, I went to party where the host offered a celebrity psychic for entertainment. During our mini session, she told me I believed money was bad, which created a massive block to receiving it. I laughed and dismissed her opinion. If anyone knew me then they were very well aware of how much I LOVED money.
Consciously, I loved money, but subconsciously I didn’t. It wasn’t until a few years later that I would discover my true story around money.
Fast forward from when I met the psychic: I woke up one morning with a huge feeling of fear regarding money. I knew it was time to deal with this issue. I owed $25,000 in credit card debt, never opened my credit card bill, and anxiously avoided looking at my bank account.
When I opened up my credit card bill and I asked the universe, “What do I need to learn about this situation?” I pasted the bill right on the wall where I could see it every day as I got out of my bed. (You really have to deal to heal anything in life.)
A month later, I found my answer. It was an amazing transformational book which helps you discover your hidden money beliefs that are holding you back from living your fullest life. The book is called Money: A Love Story, by Kate Northrup.
